bellhousing question

Discussion in 'HA/GR' started by moparsled, Apr 9, 2007.

  1. The rules state "stamped steel bellhousing" OR ****tershield.
Would a hydroformed Lakewood qualify? would it have to be SFI current to run without a ****tershield, or would outdated/non SFI qualify?

an outdated SFI bellhousing can be had pretty reasonably, and if it doesn't need an additional ****tershield, could result in some weight savings, especially over a cast iron bell/plus ****tershield.

Sounds like the Lakewood unit will be fine.
