I have put Speedway motors backing plates and Bendix style self energizing brakes on the back of my modified ( http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=685236 ). It has been a while since I received the parts. Putting them together the other day I noticed this little D shaped part taped to a part. I have been wracking my brains and scratching my head but can't seem to come up with an answer. What is it, what does it do and where does it go? Any suggestions?
It goes on the park brake cable, between the spring, and the end of the cable case. It keeps the spring from slipping back over the cable case. 4TTRUK
