I would have never dreamed a Willys with history like this could still be found anywhere, let alone sitting outside in the elements. Amazing that no one grabbed it before now, congrats!

  11. Awesome score! I didn't think you could still find an original Willys Coupe sitting outside these days, but I guess I was wrong. And I'm in love with that rear end set up, it's so freakin' cool!

    Wanda-

I planned on coming up but the rain around here stopped me. I guess the weather was ok for you guys. I will be at BG next weekend. Will I see you guys there? I need to talk Willys with Larry.

nice find ,all the holes never trapped water, so no rust, the weight jacker rear end set-up is just too cool, the photo with the wheels up, i can just hear a 301 small block clutch dump off the line ,good luck putting her back to her glory days!!

I've seen pics of cars doing wheelies before.. But this one is BAD ASS!! You really get a feeling the car was having fun doing what it was meant to do!! It looks like it's showing off and the driver has nothing to say about it. "think you're in change driver? Watch THIS!" Awesome.:D

  18. I know practically zilch about drag cars. May I ask, was the floor of this car (or most drag cars) cut out to lighten the car for racing?

I have a huge soft spot for anything neglected being loved back into it's former shape, so I'll be watching this thread...

This is hard to answer because there are people on here who would say good for you but i think the majority would have different things to say and maybe even some death threats:D:D Lets just say we STOLE IT.
