    A contrast in styles..........and tastes

    Ugh.jpg

Personally I think all the geegaws and goofy stuff add clutter and detract from the natural beauty of the 32s styling. The color is not what I personally like but without the flames it might look better. And last but not least............I just don't think white wall tires look good on a 1932 or any other pre 35 vehicle....except maybe a luxury sedan like a Rolls or Cad maybe.

Now I realize that some people have the exact opposite view ......but thats my view.

    Nice.jpg

Its simplicity exemplifies its natural beauty. Yes there are things that make it look even better, but the best ones personify that natural beauty rather than bury it in glitter and gadgets. :)

Seriously? I originally thought it may be an AI mishmash. I don' t doubt the dollars spent building it but...

Diggin the dual quarter ellipticals and the fluted lenses. I never paid any attention to it. This is really the first I have seen details or really knew of its existence. Am I missing something? @Moriarity help me out here. Is this a contender? @j hansen , you had better pics, your thoughts? A contender for our best 32?

There's another one that resembles the one shown but a different car,
    Both I would think 150k -225 k to build?
    Maybe 275 rang !

I like it,but I think it is more like Steampunk vibes, than cl***ic -32.
So no,,I stick to this car as the best-32.

I just love this one, of course it's mine too. I've had a ton of fun putting thousands of miles on it too. IMG_0902.png

  13. One thing I have always wondered, if the 32 Ford was as popular as everyone says it was then. Why in the world were people taking the frames and grills (for other projects) and leaving the bodies behind?

Why in the world? Maybe because they gained a stouter frame, better driveline, steering, brakes, along with a lower profile and then with the addition of the lighter T and A bodies better performance at the lakes or drags. And the world’s ***iest grille helped too.

    Exactly this.
The Milner coupe ignited my hot rod love as a teenager here in the UK in the mid 70's when I saw AG in the cinema for the first time. I didn't even know it was a 32, and I can't say I like its style after discovering other style during subsequent years of mag buying and then visits to the USA, but, it was the start, and for me because of that it's iconic, with what it represented, rather than the sum of its parts.
32's for me are hot rods, not kustoms, so I'm afraid to me, Lil Coffin probably ranks as the worst 32 of all time not the best, but, hey what does a limey know ;):D:p

  18. So many great cars. All could be the best in somebody's mind.
I wouldn't trade mine for any of them.

The 409 is a nice touch. Almost nonexistent use of chrome, if it had a hood, it would look a bit Boydster. Even the bones are red.

I like the heavy 60's vibe, I used to run flat caps on my Olds TT's. I even like the Mr T tail pipes. Is this a local car?

I believe it was built by Randy Bianchi- if you google him, you’ll see some familiar cars- Sunkist, Moonkist, a T sedan, a severely channeled 32 roadster, probably others. I think he’s back east somewhere.
