Randys' build style was "if a little is good then too much is just right"!

This is a totally subjective question. Here's one of my favorite dudes driving maybe my favorite 32. Pic taken by @Ryan what seems like yesterday. I had the chance to jump in and take it for a parking lot spin. It was awesome. Look at that thing! It sounded really really good.

I know the car and saved pictures on a thumb drive, so I wouldn't lose them. Of course, I lost the thumb drive, but they still exist on the link you provided. Historic? Absolutely! Cool? Yep. Fast? Obviously. I get the belly pan for speed trials, but I miss seeing the bottom of the grille. Hey, at least it has one, the 'Coffin hasn't any resemblance up front to a 32.

I love the chrome and polish work, and the color. Channel jobs aren't "my thing", mainly because, like the driver, my head would stick out of the car like Tom Magnum driving that 308 GTS in the 80's. I'd have bug splatters on my forehead and if it rains, a full face Shoei.

But I'll agree it is a cool addition to this thread, pursuit and heritage. Thanks for the add.

Bob Bleed looks like Stroker McGurk in the old comics. Just needs to change his hat.

  6. ….and just because of that I am voting Chet Herberts 32 Fordor the the best of all time!:D:D:D

  8. I'm honestly surprised that this one doesn't get more love, there are hardly ANY pics of it online. This was my favorite to watch come together when I started loitering around Brizio's shop in the early 2000's. A very nice original 3-window found in Santa Cruz, so nice that Mumford paid the widow selling it way more than she was asking for it in the interest of fairness. There is a J2 Olds engine tucked in under the hood.

Yep, one of my favourite 32's to have come out of Brizio's, along with that rose pink 3w with the Lincoln motor they built about 5 years ago.

What's not to like? Cabriolet, 59AB, 371, quad 2 bbls, quad v belts, wide whites, white top, exhaust cutouts, caps and rings. Very nice.

A lot of folks on here don't like the big lights, hung down low, almost comical big and littles (almost). I like it.

do you mean cartoonish big and littles, count me in, save that size front tire for when you have to tuck them under a fender and still be able to steer

Yes, that would have been a better word. Don't get me wrong, looks cool but the diameter extreme is extreme, IHO.
