Just ran across it while looking through tech threads. Seems like it's a 40 merc dash.

    I love that one too.

Dude, is your steering wheel really that far from the dash? Crazy....

It's not the best, but here's what I did. It's a '37 Harley Davidson "skull" guage panel turned upside down and molded to the dash. I haven't found a speedo to fit as of yet, but I haven't been looking too hard.

  11. ...here's a 51-2 Chevy dash in a Model A, I believe it's a car owned by one of the Cheaters club members out of the Milwaukee area,...it's a beautiful car.

  14. Yeah it looks great in the photo but even better in person. I saw it at the Salina show. Also liked the little pickup that was parked right behind it.

I loved the "HUGHES FLYING BOAT" data plate!

As well as this 33's interior and I love the Stude gauge's...

  19. I like the way the bed slants with the slope of the stance. That's cool and different.

Have a 1954 Pontiac dash cut down to fit w/ ash tray and narrowed glove box door. Hidden radio even plays thru dash speaker! All gauges and speedo hooked up and working. 1956 Chevy steering wheel w/ original horn ring.

Just curious, has anyone ever seen a '30-'31 A dash that uses the stock gas tank, but with a different gas gauge than the stock one. Maybe something with sort of a false front that would allow multiple gauges, sort of like the Aristocrat in post #94, but not as antique looking.

I have a Cessna wingtank float gauge like the one HAMBer Blackjack has played around with. I was thinking that might be interesting to mount in a '31 A tank.

    Later, Kinky6

Yeah that is Cheater Dan's model A caddy powered coupe. The whole story of it might be coming to you guy's soon via your magazine racks ...but shhhhhh don't tell anybody.

The corners of said dash make perfect transition pieces for grafting a 40 ford dash into a 28-29 model A roadster

Full Auburn w/ fuel pump. You can see the difference in the arc of the dash rail and the A windshield
