I went to Hershey today. It rained all day. Very few vendors and most of those hiding under blue tarps. Even fewer cars in the car corral. However, I finally got to meet up with Jim Winter-the Hot Rod Grill. We've been HAMB friends for 15 years, but never met! We and our friends had a great afternoon, staying warm and dry in the Giant Center. I did manage to catch these pictures of a weird Ford motor? set up, a beautiful 1938 Aston Martin dash and also the Bob Ritchie roadster out of Connecticut. Built in 1954. Chrysler 1931 body on a 1940 chassis. Asking price $125,000.00
5window thanks for the pictures! I saw the Bob Ritchie roadster as well ducking in to get out of the rain. I was with Nickthebandit and he remembered seeing that car “back in the day”. Kinda embarrassed I didn’t get a picture of it myself given it had CT roots sporting that license plate.
Yes, I recalled seeing the roadster in one of the Autorama car shows back in the 1950's when I was a young teen-ager before we moved to San Francisco in 1956.
Supposedly it was featured in Hop Up or Popular Hot Rodding at the time, but I have no access to either magazine any longer
