best looking engine

    I need ideas on how to make my 302 look good. I've got a set of old finned aluminun valve covers to run, but any ideas/pics would really help. thanks

    I wish, but it's a brand new crate motor I got from a buddy for $500. It will get my 65 f-100 moving though.

    whatever works...try a cool big air cleaner or something...
     
  7. I'll be nice as I'm a bit of a fan of the Windsor. [​IMG]

    The finned rockers will go a long way, but to get away from the "mullet-mobile" look you're going to have to carb up!

    You can get tri carb setups, but I like the twin quad look too. More suited to the vintage of the truck anyway.

    I thought I had a pic somewhere of the engine in this car...

    It was a twin quad 289, Offy intake I think, with finned rocker covers etc, it looked cool. I can't believe I didn't take a pic of it!!!
