Event Coverage Best Memorial Day ever at Poverty Flats (private parade)

Of all the cool, neat things done to honor the vets on Memorial Day, this is the one that got to me the most. Thanks for sharing; you're a true Patriot! (Got sumpin inna my eye...) Let your family know that it was appreciated by a bunch of us.

 

way to go man. that was a very noble thing to do to honor those who fought for our freedom. my hat's off to you.

 

Did the NAVY for 11 years...jumped outta helo's for a living till I crashed twice...decided it was time to go...

In other words, I hate the beach (never go) and if I dont ever see another body of water again, I'd be cool with that!

oh, and I dont write speeding tickets....never have...I kinda feel like it's a little hypocritical seeing as I speed...I do however write child restraint tickets as well as red/stop light/sign tickets (if I gotta stop, so should you)....thats really the only two tickets I write. (yes I still use "Sir" and "Ma'am" unless you give me a reason not too)

Worked two homicides just last night....way sick of the violence...I've been talking about moving back to rural america for years....I'm getting ready to take the plunge. There's gotta be better than this.

kudos to the cool town, dont take it for granted...bottom line, sometimes progress aint really progress...

Back to the issue at hand...I just got off the phone with my pops to wish him a belated memorial day...spend better part of the hour listening to stories about my passed grandpops military exploits...wish I coulda met him, sounds like he was the epitome of cool...
