"Best of Hot Rod" ... 1981 .. A MUST HAVE

After a loooong & much needed rest I have started focusin` on my "never ending" restoration of our "Victorian" house ... Started by cleaning the house up inside , to make it look more like a work-space than a ware-house .. , and while doing that , I came across an box with old magazines & books in it ... THERE IT WAS : " Best of Hot Rod " 1981 edition ... MAN , Do I LOVE that paperback : it is filled with Excellent pix & an overall view of our "Hobby" that ( imho ) no book has ever since been able to compete with . In that book you will find soo many cool cars & ideas that it will keep you busy for a lifetime ...

I have a copy of it in a box in the attic, thanks for reminding me about it. It got read so much that the binding gave in, the cover now acts as a folder to keep the loose pages together. It's great.

If i remember correct the all time best hot rod pic is in that.

It sounded so good I did a quick search on Ebay and just bought one for four bucks. Not too bad.
