Any CAT tractor store will have all the grade 8 hardware that you could ever want. They carry the good stuff, not the overseas fakes. :) :)

    PA?
But your profile says you're south of heaven...?
That would put you in North Texas, since everyone KNOWS heaven is in Oklahoma!

I do not know of a place on-line, am sure there is. For a walk-through-the-door-and-pick-it-up place, check out Caterpillar Trucks. They only use grade 8 bolts and have an good selection.

Pigpen types faster than me but Cat is a good place to find odd sized stuff. I have picked up high temp. o-rings also from them.

We get lots of stuff from Mc-master carr. at www.mcmaster.com. They have a great selection and everything always seems to be in stock and ready to ship that same day. They have grade 5 and 8 and metrics too. If you ever need Whitworth taps and dies they can special order them, but it takes just a few days. If you ever need whitworth bolts I've got a source for them too.

I live in a town of less than 5,000, and i can think of at least 10 places that have gread 8 bolts of allmost any size and thread design here.

NAPA, Runnings Farm Store, John Deere, ACE Hardware, Menards, Home Depot, Our Own Hardware, Cycle & Snowmobile Dealers, Tractor Supply,
Northern States Supply, Car Quest, etc, ect.

Call arround, i can't imagine that my little town would have anymore then
then where you are at. Grade 8 fasteners are NOT rare. Good Luck.

push comes to shove, try Fastenal. They sell all kinds of hardware and my local store is like a McMaster-Carr or Sears, open to the public & walk-in.

They have 2 stores that seem to be close to Wayne, one in King of Prussia & the other in Folcroft.

    www.fastenal.com

i would talk to them about the price though because their web site lists them by bulk (price per 100)
