They were installed on the ***embly line, but so many of them had coolant leakage problems that they recalled them very early in the model year and switched to cast iron. Given that fact, I certainly wouldn't pay the price for them just to try to use them in a non-stock application. The same money will buy you lots better performance elsewhere.
