So I scrounged up one 46-48 Ford hub for my finned Buick drum conversion. Do I just heat this thing up and press it out? Are there any tricks? First time trying this, so lets hear your ideas.

You should just be able to beat them out. But I'd at least use a br*** hammer or a block of would so you dont kill the wheel studs. Heat kinda scares me on a drum because of warpage or fear of weakening it.

Don't beat them out; you'll ruin the hubs. They are swedged on. Theres a cutter made to do that job or you can do as I did which was to grind off the heads of the studs from inside the drum and poke them out from the back. You'll have to replace the studs though. .....Bob
