My early blown SBC has some serious blowby. I dont know if the block was machined wrong ( done by the same machine shop that fucked up the heads ), If I hurt it by overheating sitting in line entering a Show, or if the Rings never seated right. It had Moon/Offenhauser type breathers on the sides of the early Corvette valve covers, and oil was coming out of them, running down the side of the engine, on to the exhaust, and the fumes were giving me headaches. I bought a EMPI Remote breather, machined it so the lid is sealed, Milled the EMPI Logo out of it, put a Offy Breather on top of it, And moved all of the hose connections to the front so it does not look as much like a VW piece... Then I welded up all the extra holes in the Breather and Valve covers.
Few people realize how adaptable(not to mention affordable) aftermarket VW parts are. You can make'em work for anything, and almost no one will know that they are VW parts. Great job thinking outside the box Bugman Jeff

You didn't say whether you had one or not but you'll get the oil drippies no matter what if you don't have a PCV or road draft system. Chris
yes, it was affordable. The little Offenhouser Breather that I used cost as much as the whole EMPI kit ( included hoses, clamps, fittings, etc. ) Not all Taiwan Aluminum costs the same I guess... I think I'll put one on my truck as well, if it is the big ol' blower that courses the blowby, it will need one before I put the Paxton on. I was not running a PCV or roaddraft on the SBC in the Roadster, just the 2 breathers on the Valve Covers.
If you buy an off brand of that breather, it won't have a logo on it. It comes with a nice finned top Just ask the nice man at the VW parts house when you call, if it has a logo on it. Dean
