Better than........????? Who do you have now? How do you plan to use your vehicle?? Daily driver, shows only, or ........ You might try using the search feature at the top right of the main screen, put in "insurance" or some thing similar. There have been several discussions of the topic. And company names will be mentioned there. I'm sure others will have further comments.

First I would check with the state division of motor carriers in you're peticular state . I know for a fact that insurance in one state aint worth a plug nickel in annother. For instance , you buy insurance in say Missisippi and move to say Louisiania . You have to show proof of insurance , something minor . Ya get a note from the insurance company stating that , "We Dont do business in ............ " . I know American Collectors is a good company . Still, they can't legalyy write the same libile polocy in Virginia . Do yer homework cause in the need to actually need it , be sure yer covered .scrubba
GRUNDY, GRUNDY, GRUNDY, GRUNDY, GRUNDY.......................... I just got done with a MAJOR claim with GRUNDY and it went as smooth as silk. It was actually a friend of mine that crashed his 1932 Ford Deuce Coupe (long story) and GRUNDY came through without a hitch.
Politely-you need to post an intro. Then, as stated, you need to more clear on what you want insurance to do for you-and that depends on how you use your vehicle, what kind of coverage you want and what you state rules cover. Once you decide, do a search before posting-there are lots of previous threads on posting. There are quite a few companies-but you want a LOCAL agent. Welcome to the HAMB
Thanks for the replies. I just got this thing built so I don't really know how it will fit into my other vehicles. For the summer I will drive it the two miles to work. When it snows it will no longer be safe to drive. Have some insurance to ckeck out. Thanks
hi y'all Just a reminder that if you have an insurance questions, I can be reached at becky@grundy.com
Hagerty here, on the recommendation of my neighbor who has been a long time Hagerty policy holder. My daily driver is State Farm whom I have been with many years, but told me if you wreck that 26, we will give you about $160. The way I fiqure, that would replace the kingpins and the lug nuts. Sorry Becky@Grundy didnt know you were a HAMBer.
You will be well off, to carefully describe the driving you plan on doing, then choose among the "agreed value" coverage firms mentioned.
Just signed up with Hagerty last week. I told them what I wanted for the agreed value, sent pictures and got exactly the coverage I needed in about 24 hours. They have great service and customer relations. Most reviews on the internet were positive. You can get an immediate quote on line at there web site .
I had used Hagerty previously and was happy with them, but I am putting a new vehicle on the road this week and contacted both Hagerty and Grundy. Grundy quoted a price 1/3 lower than Hagerty for the same coverage, so I'm switching.
That right there is going to cause an issue. With Hagerty and Grundy, they don't want you communing to work in your rod, no matter how close it is. This is the reason that neither have my hot rod business. I park my vehicles at my shop, so by definition, they get driven to work, every time they get driven.
