I guess I should have done this last week. My name is Tom and I am a certified gear head. I grew up around dirt track racing and that is my love first and fore most. I also happen to love anything Ford. I have circle track raced for the past 20 years, and through this I realized that if I were to continue I would have to learn to build my own cars. This led me to my owning my own fabrication shop that I operate for a living. I build everything from mega dollar street rods to circle track street stocks. I love fabricating things and tinkering. I also despise anything that is a trailer queen or a car that is for show only. I grew up around Mustangs, and I currently own two of them. I grew tired of the Mustang scene, so I branched out to the other Fords such as Galaxies,Falcons and Torinos. I have been a traditional rodder for years, but I did not know it until I started seeing and reading about the Trad scene in the past 10 or so years. I love wide whites, steelies, straight axles, dual points and 4 speeds. One of my current cars is a Nascar themed '64 Galaxie Custom that is street driven with a full rollcage, 351 Cleveland, Super T-10 4 speed, Hilborn belt drive fuel pump, Accel tach drive dizzy, and a full floating Frankland Quickchange rear end. It has 12" Goodyear Eagles, 10" steelies, severely radiused wheel openings front and rear and faded factory paint. I drive it everywhere!! I am also building my first pre '48 car, a '47 Ford 2 door sedan that I hope to have running in a year or so. Anyway, that's me in a nut shell.
Welcome.. The board has a lot of circle track racers on it. Some are still active and some are sort of retired.. Bobby..
