Just got this email from him:

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>It's done the logo is off and the website is down. It will not go back up. and i did not sell anything with the logo on it. or anything else for that matter. the website has only been up for two months and considering you run your own website you know that two months is not enough to sell anything. sorry for the inconvenience, and i know that doesn't make it better but its all over now.

I think he got the message.:p

Okay Bone Yard Chop Shop. It ain't over, sport. I spoke to Tuck last night. He has yet to weigh in. Power and Noise (aka Bone Daddy) has gone on record here. I've yet to speak with John Bell. It seems Sailor Jerry's legal department has been kick started. Your company's logo appears to be a lift of Chop Shop's. Your illegal HouseOspeed merch is pulled down. That's just the start. Shall we discuss some kind of cash settlement for the people you've screwed? What's the going rate for a good screwing these days? What have you got for Tuck? For Joe at Power and Noise? For Chop Shop? I have respect for people who man up. Maybe it's time you did. Screw your excuses. How about settling up like a man. What did you make off of all of us? Let's have it back. I notice you have an S-10 for sale. How about sending the pink slip to Ryan and we'll auction it off on the HAMB and give the proceeds to a sick kid or an art program. I'd like to see you make actual amends, not some half-*** gee-whiz I'm sorry. Sorry doesn't pay our bills. Man up, dude. I dare you to. Learn from it. Make somebody's life better. Salvage something good from this ****storm you've created for youself. It's your move, sport...

You'd have to be pretty sick to want that S-10 anyway... especially without WWWs. :(

Ok if you speak with anyone who has every opened a website you will not making a sale is not going to happen within the first two months of opening a website. Take what legal actions you want. but when they pull the records they will see i have not made one sale or made one sent on anything. all that was done was the website was created in the end of December i did not have anything on it until mid january and it is febuary 6th now. You caught it before anything came of it. And if you look at the s10 you will see that it was a peice of **** s10 that sold a little less then a year ago. I dont even have a car now. I have nothing to give and have not made anything on any of your designs. check with godaddy.com and see the date the site was opened, then check with cafe press and you have my permission to view all sales reports. I know saorry doesnt cut **** and i cant go back in time and re-right the wrong. if i could i would.

And for the rest of you. how would you play it if 30 guys were talking about your address? yeah i know you wouldnt be in this situation, but imagine for a secound you were. what would you do realistictly?

So what do i do now? You tell me everyone wants to throw lawsuit in the air and talk about jail time but when you havent accualy sold anything, then its just a bunch of pictures. And why is it that everyone preaches about respect but in the end they just want money. I have none to give. If its respect and truth you want then that is what i am giving but if it is something else realistictly then ask for it. Not just jokes about things. I am here and listening and wanting to know what you want. I know alot of you are pissed and want revenge, pain, money, or what ever else. You have to deside and let me know. But picking out segments out of my statements and making fun of it, doesnt prove to provide any progession from the current situation.

So like i have said before i am sorry for all the ******** i have attemped to do but none of it has been done. i know talk is cheap and means nothing. You have never met me and dont want to listen to a word i have to say. But i do acctualy regret what i have done and will do what it take to right the wrong as much as it can be done.

The address was on the internet. It is public domain that is viewable by anyone. Get over it.

Well, I hope you guys have better luck than I have in the past going after these ***holes. Even last year, I went after the dude that owns Whizzzz Magazine, who is STILL selling bogus subscriptions for his model magazine. I filed with mail fraud thru the postal service and with two government agencies. That one is piddly, but still erks my ***. 20 bucks is 20 bucks, but a freakin' liar and con artist just pisses me off to no end. At some point, these guys will learn not to rip good folks off. Hard times will bring more hard ***es. Good luck all of you.

Dayum!! Ryan needs to make up and sell some T-shirts that say "Don't F#*K with the HAMB!!", they'd sell like hotcakes!!

I love this community, reminds me of people like my grandad who were no nonsense, take them at their word, call me and I'll be there ASAP kind of people. I can't really think of another one like it out there on the 'net.

I think it's more about wanting res***ution than money.

It's okay if you don't have any now. When you get a real job, everything can be put in place to garnish those paychecks. These guys are plenty flexible...

Dude- it isnt about a sale- its about the fact that you STOLE artwork that legally is someone elses. We have paid graphic artists to create our designs and agonized over what would work for our companies and designs.I appreciate that you have taken it down on my logo 'redesign'.

Its nothing more than that- doesnt matter if you sold anything or not- although if you had - you would be in much deeper ****.

I just hope you have learned that HARD WORK is the only thing that will pay off- not RIPPING off. If you are as good a grphic design and stuff like you say you are- someone will hire you soon for it- if not- Wal MArt is ALWYAS hiring and is a good honest job.

If he's an artist, why not take it out in trade? Have him do a freebie logo for each of the people he took something from!

If he's good, then they get a free logo, and he gets his name out there... and gets on the right track with his own, original artwork.

His 12 other Cafe Press sites ?
    Or whatever the number was.

Spent a couple minutes looking on Cafepress,
found Roth and Robert Williams stuff being
knocked off, and a bunch of stuff that looks familiar.

Dude first get and use a spell checker. Apparently your school didn't stress Engilsh as a tool for success.

Then look up plagerism and go back to the school you went to and turn yourself (and your cohorts) in for violating that ins***ution's Code of Student Conduct, and turn in your degree or certificate. It seems that is all you have which may be of any value. Perhaps that might molify this group a bit.

Then if you are still interested in a career in graphic arts or illustration, go back and do it right. Get some honor and integrity back in your life. Stop looking for an easy way out. Get a better group of friends.

If you truely have no talent, than take a better look at your self, and reevaluate your life goals.

And if on a job interview in the future a prospective employer asks you what have you learned through experience, you can start by telling them about this little website your tried to start. Seems to me you are very lucky you did not do any commerce on your site.

Taking it down is probably only the first step in making amends. Some of life's lessons are hard, perhaps you will be able to reflect upon some of the other advice you have been given by friends and relatives you thought lame, stupid or for old guys.

Here's some; do look behind you once in a while, something just might be catching up to you.

    Best wishes

That Cafe Press Site seems to have as part of its business model a casual disregaurd for copywrite law infractions and or intellectual property rights. Perhaps they need a bit of rightous rath directed at them also. They seem to host just about anything with no questions asked.

I just want to say thanks to 54BOMB for pm'ing me yesterday about finding our shop logo on cafepress and asking if it was legit or not, which it was. After reading this thread, it all makes sense now. Thanks Brett for keeping an eye out. Viva La HAMB.

I still can't find this guy on cafepress. It sounds like there is still art from Zombie and Tuck, etc on there, but I haven't come across it yet. How are you guys finding it? I don't have time to sort through 2400 hits from a "hot rod" search.

The fact of the matter is, all of you are wrong.

He wasn't exactly operating entirely within the law when he "lifted" the artwork, but if you ***holes actually pay him a visit that's far worse than anything he ever did.

This is when it's time for everyone to grow up. He sold some pirated artwork, so you people are suggesting to ******** him?

My god you people are sick. And ****ed in the head.

The fact is, the ***clown pirated artwork from as many as 50 artists. Let's say YOUR artwork was involved! Would YOU be as (apparently) pro-plaglarizing as you are? People are trying to defend the right to profit off their OWN intellectual property!!! Is it right for this little ****weed Jonathan Dean to go out and claim that HE did the artwork, as he has clearly stated in his own web page? I hope he is scared ****less! He should be looking over his shoulder all the time! He should hope he isn't served with a subpoena! He should be hoping that he doesn't go to jail! He should hope and pray that someone out there doesn't go and beat him into a pile of quivering protoplasm! Instead, he offers a half-***ed "apology"...ooooh, THAT works, huh? Just apologize, and everything bad is forgiven! That might be the way it works to obtain an appointed government office in some circles, but in real life, a "feel-good" warm and fuzzy apology ain't ****! And, how exactly do we KNOW he did not profit from the artwork, as he claims? We take his word for it? ********.

The little ******* should be concerned...and looking for a good attorney.

Would you be nearly as comp***ionate, and understanding,
if he stole your car ?
How about if he broke into your house, and stole your TV ?

The guy knowing stole the results of someone's hard work,
and presented it for sale as his own.

    Knock-Off = Rip Off.
