Beware of Lonnie Richie

I just left a conversation with two friends who were both ripped off by Lonnie Richie. One had been involved in car deals, parts, and a simi- partnership with this guy . The other lost $27,000 when Richie took off with the money in the middle of a deal for his wrecking yard in Mound House, NV. This went down a few years back and these guys and others are still sorting out who gets what out of what little they have been able to get their hands on. At one point the Feds were involved and I've been told there are warrants out on him. Richie seems to have several names he uses. He was known to be around Chico for a while and has family in that area. He also has family around Carson City. I guess the point here is what we already know be careful in dealing with sleaze balls and keep the $$$ in a safe place till the deal is done.

That sucks, dude. $27,000? I'd be organizing a search party with several HAMBers and about a dozen Mossbergs.
