BFG 285/60-16's?

I had my heart set on these for the back of my '36 and now I find they are out of production. Coker doesn't even have them. Anyone know where I could score a set?

They are on the BFG website , should'nt be a problem . I was talking to Alan Johnson at the GNRS about these tires and he said that there was no problem getting them . Good luck

 

On your advise, I just contacted BFG and was told they suspended production of that tire to update the sidewall markings for sale in Europe. They were supposed to start up again the end of last year but not being an OEM size, production has been pushed back and seems to be somewhat in limbo. I was told that the code in BFG's database currently says "no mold". Maybe the mold is being updated to include the new sidewall info? Either way there is no indication when or even if it will be made again.

Dane, I already made that call with no luck. I haven't seen that other brand before though. I scored an older used set of BFG's for mock up so I'll just have to see what's out there when it's time to hit the road.

I've got a nice pair of 275/65-16 BFG T/A's that spent a year on the back of my 34. I believe thats another of the out of prodiction sizes that you might consider.

 

I have 2 P285/60R16 B F GOODRICH Radial TA brand new never mounted. I also have 2 P265/60R16 BFG
