BG carbs Stromberg 97 replacement?

Maybe these are old news, but I ran accross them today and wondered if anyone here has used them. Any opinions? Know what they cost?

why dont they make them look traditional is my problem, i dont like the fit together look and the big ugly demon logo.

 

Semi-old news - been discussed here on at least two other threads.

I think it's a brave step for BG.

A compromise for some of the retro-tech type of higher end builds, IMO.

I'd run 'em if I could afford them...

 

Oh ok... I did a search here but just found threads on the 6 shooter setup. These look a little cooler, but I agree that they are a little modern looking.

 

I heard yesterday that that don't have any.
Haven;t started production yet.
Won't be able to ship any for months.

on a site called moe's garage they have made brand new 97's. check it out

 

New Strombergs have been out for a couple years now - made in England.

 

I really want to give them props for trying and I really want to like them...

But those are just stupid...
They make ZERO sense...

If you wanted to run modern carbs you could get a different intake?

Even a single 4bbl would look better and make more sense than that.

 

They gotta do something with those recalled Chinese Barbie dolls

 

I willprobably buy them when they come out. Better reliability and cheaper in the long run than buying 10-15 Strombergs to get 3 good carbs......go ahead and flame me, I'm ready.
