All I asked was about the difference between Bias Play's and Radial white walls and my post was closed...

id say 16's look better. have a taller narrow look, just like all the old hot rods.

    I'm loving the look of the 16's with a 600 / 750 WWW combo. I just can't find any smothies(other than new).

Depends on what era your shooting for 16"s for a 40's and early 50's look or dry lakes racer, 15"s for more of a 60"s street car look.

These are 15x5 front with 5.60-15 and 15x7 rear with 8.20 15 Firestones on Roadstar's Roadster.

    16's are it then.

These are 4.50/4.75X16 Fronts and 7.50X16 Rears Firestone Deluxe Champions on hemifarris's roadster.

A lot of guys have had bouncing issues with the shorter 4.50/4.75-16 and 500/525-16 Firestones tires and have switched too 5.50-16 for fronts.

I decided to go for 750-16 and 500-16...but what's that with this bouncing issues? Is it serious? Well, the look is great but if it's not driveble anymore...I don't have a trailer queen!
    thanks, Peter

Are wide whites generally accepted period tires for the late 40's early 50's hot rod? That is the look I want for my truck. I have 16 inch artillery wheels. I like the look of wide whites but I want the truck to look like a kid hopped up his the old farm truck.

I only run dubs on my ricer. :D

Funny thing, I build a lot of parts for a guy here local. He tels me "I've got a set of rims you would want and can have, I'll just drop them off". I wake up and a full set of 20's are sitting on my porch. So, I make some blinged out tool stands. He actually got pissed that I effed up his rims. I was like, wtf else would I have done with them?

You said you "know someone with",,,,,,, come on, fess up,,,, its you
