Bias Plies... Errrrrggghhh!

Thats the truth. The first person that can tell me that my custom with radials on it is WRONG!! can go have a nice day someplace else. If someone put radials on the Hirohata would it be less of the cornerstone custom it is? No. If you think otherwise, your heads in the sand.

If a perfectly traditional hotrod rolled up next to it with radials on it, I would puke.

I drive my the auto in question 40 miles roundtrip to work 6 days a week. If I could afford a full set of radial wide whites, theyd be on the car. But I can't so I sacrafice, I pulled the radial skinny whites off in favor of bias ply wide whites. They are not on there for any other reason than cost.

My 51 Ford is gettin radial wide whites, and thats that. Call it what you want, it doesn't take away from the car.

 

Where do you get them cheap?

 

It's just my opinion after all the problems I've seen with other people on there cars. The only real reason for you to rotate side to side is for uneven wear. Weather it be "cupping" or alignment wear.

 

Everybody bitches about biasply handeling but i kinda like it, it is a little easier to feel the corners and you dont get blowouts, i drive hard alot, waaay too much, windy washington backroads
