I ended up going for a few hours Friday, all day Saturday, and for an hour or so Sunday. Great show. Other than Carlisle, it was the best I have attended.

I went with my buddy and my son. Had a great time. My friend scored some parts for his 54. It's a great swap every year

  3. It was packed (I haven't been in a few years), I walked straight for 8 1/2 hours and didn't even make it to the overflow. I should have went back Sunday.... scored a few things, had to stop myself from the big ones. Weasel I saw the back half of a willys and stopped by but you were shopping too.

For the most part, we all try to buy extra spots for our friends and not to scalp, you pay up front a year in advance, most spots are inherited much like turlock, On Sundays, if you hav'ent payed for your spot by 12 noon you lose them and people in line can purchase them, I think thats pretty fair.

It bugs me also to see so many empty spaces at a "sold out" swap meet when there are people wanting spaces who are being left out. I reckon the reality is that they don't really have the means to keep track of who used all thier spaces and who didn't. Even if the did track that, when the guy shows up Sunday morning to pay for his 10 spots for next year, I doubt they would tell him to take his $1000.00 and go pound sand because he didn't use the spaces he bought for this year.
