Today was the 2nd Annual "Unfinished Hot Rod Nationals" at Big Al's Toy Box in Gaylordsville, Ct. , good time with an open house to his speed shop.

 

Two walls with Chrysler HEMIs stacked 4 high.

Yes, it got my vote for "Best of Show", there was no "Most Yards of Welding". The guy started with his mothers 1978 Buick stationwagon.

what's the story on the giant chevy 4 door truck, custom or firetruck or both?

 

I should have asked, looks like a power company truck with a custom bed and newer design tires. The black COE was nice too.

 

That short wheelbase dragster on the shelf looks like my old Jimmy six powered car. Guess they put a new motor in it. Wish I'd have held on to it . Woulda coulda shoulda.
