Anyone done a 454/t400 combo in a 59 apache, some guidance for motormounts, headers and radiator options would be appreciated.
    Thanks

You can buy mounts to side mount the engine in there. BB/SB are the same when it comes to that. YOu'll have to buy or make a crossmember for the rear of the trans, as the original hangs off the back of the engine with no rear support. May have to remove or modify at least the crossmember at the rear of the engine. Expect to have to get a Desert Cooler type radiator. Original hose locations will work.

The major problem I see and the reason I don't do it is because the steering box has to be moved over about an inch and a half to 2 inches to clear the block.
