Lmao! Then you better climb your ass in the truck and head this way!! I wish i had space to work on it! Trying to focus on my wagon for the hot rod reunion at the moment, but after that's done I'm gonna roll the elco in the shop for a couple of days ;)

  16. Talked about the reunion today.
The bus is getting some offshore lifters replaced. Hope to have it road ready for Nashville next weekend.

Might as well come on north about 50 miles and enjoy the reunion. By far my favorite event. Lot of cars in the show and shine, good swap meet, killer drag racing, good people, and ice cream :D

  19. Hows the car coming along? Perused through the thread. Glad to see you were able to find some patches. I had a fair amount of trouble locating panels myself. I didn't have money at the time, but about a year and a half ago, Ecklers still had patches for the rear AND front section of the quarters. I think all these resto houses were purchasing from Sherman. But because they weren't selling enough of the panels, it didn't make sense for them to continue producing. Maybe the dies were wearing out and it wasn't cost effective enough to fix em because of the lack of sales. But NOW, all of us with 60's are SOL.
