I had a '49 Chevy pickup with a rear tank and a filler cap in the fender. It would do OK on the slowest step on the pump nozzle. My Henry J does alright. It just has a short, 45* hose between the tank and cap.

My 454 Elky and 850 on a hard pass used to sick the sides of the tank in. I drilled a 3/16 hole in the gas cap in 2 places no more problems.

It's gonna end up the original color eventually. At least that's the plan for now. She ordered material to redo the seat, gonna do away with the white and go with black bolsters. And make black door panels. I need to buy carpet also. Funny thing is, the car has "modified" 66 chevelle floor pans, so I don't know what car to buy the carpet for lmao!

Am I the only half ass hack on here? Let me ask you this, if your car has a hood that should be thrown away, but there's not a replacement around, let alone that you can afford, what would you do??? :D 20230418_175431.jpg 20230418_195342.jpg

I once pulled the carpet out of a 69 Camaro Indy pace car a guy paid big bucks for. It had road signs glassed to the floor with a ton of undercoating on the bottomo_O

That's just plain craziness! I would've used pop rivets! :p

  30. I had a perfect '60 hood laying out in the horse pasture when they weren't worth anything. By the time guys wanted them the horse had smashed it flat.
