    So what color do you paint chrome wheels that are no longer chrome? Not really thinking silver. Put cast blast on this transmission, I'm considering using that on the wheels, kinda looks like an old magnesium wheel. Yes? No? Lead, guide, and direct me.

    Pretty tough...cast blast on the inner and dull aluminum on the rim?

    Back in the 80’s a buddy had a set of now rare Cragar “snow mags”, they were regular Cragar SS but instead of chrome they were painted white, seems like they may have had a red pinstripe around the rim. They looked pretty good on his red 64 Impala SS.

    I don't know guys, I'm leaning towards red. I've never painted aluminum slots though, guess I can hit them with a scuff pad and some epoxy, then shoot the red.

    This is getting weird.
    I've seen aluminum slots with the inside of the holes painted. The set I remember actually had red paint in it. Just don't drink that Butt Lite stuff.
