That's quite true but, right now it's better than sweating your *** off in a hot garage.

 

I quit sweating when I realized how cheap window A/C unit's were and finally put one in. Turn it on a half an hour before you want to go out there and you're golden!

 

I want that Shasta! But I'm sure it's out of my budget lol.

 

I have window AC in my garage also . It does help , nice to kick back and just think about life , Buddies and our great hobby .

 

Hell... Most of the time I go out there just to get away from all the ******** that's going on in the house!!! If something happens to get done to the car, so be it!!!

 

That bottom trailer is the one. That one screams 50’s road trip. Of course I m a ****er for those little tear drop trailers. That’s why I want to do drag and drives. Nobody makes fun of a racer with a trailer hitch.

NAW.... I am a freeze baby & live in Ohio, so NO need for AC! Since Laura is home from the hospital though, things are different! Now I have AC in the living room & the bedroom. Funny thing is that with the climate control in the building....It is more comfortable out there than in the house!

I would much rather be out in the 90 deg air than in AC anytime!!!!

I guess I'm a *****. I hate having Swamp ***, sweat burning my eye's, and hands that are too sweaty to have a good grip on a hammer. Cold beer helps but doesn't do much for motivation! LOL!!!
On a more serious note... I'm glad that Laura is home and hope that she kick's the ever living **** out of her ailment!!! Both of you are in our family's thoughts and prayer's.

She starts radiation for 5 days straight tomorrow & then chemo a couple weeks down the road. Her walking is getting stronger every day, but I have to hold her as she uses the walker. Still optimistic on attending Lloydfest!!!!

And, at least you are making progress even before getting the car home. The thread I started on my Merc has gone stagnant after I shoved it in the corner of the shop. Slowly gathering parts, but no progress. I got distracted by my Chevelle and work on the house…

 

@Lloyd's paint & gl*** the picture of the rear axle and drum you took- that looks like original equipment to me. Put me on the list if it turns out to be a posi please.

Update, even though I still have no car. It's not a posi. Jerel said he doesn't know why the wheel wouldn't turn, but it's an open rear. He replaced the spider gears in 1974, so he knows it's not a posi. But he does have a 1960 posi there, said he gave $40 for it years ago lmao! I told him it's worth some money. Engine is ready to swing out, he said he'll try to get it out tmrw, depending on how much hay he gets rolled. I told him no worries. Got my center caps

 

Lloyd, when you get the car, you could get an overhead picture of it with all the parts laid out. Like a magazine shoot or giant model kit, for the amu*****t of all of us! Glad it's getting closer for you. Pretty soon you'll be pounding that firewall for the big block, good times..

That parts layout is a great idea. I'll bet the fire department would let him use the ladder truck to get the picture.
