Hot Rods Big Daddy's 55 2 door wagon gasser

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Lloyd's paint & glass, Jul 1, 2024.

  1. Picking up a set of 56 skirts
Looking for drop spindles, zero or close to zero offset discs
    A better rear gate
Passenger side front upper trim-4 door.
I’ve got 3 nice 57 factory AC vents. Would trade for 55/56 ones
Still haven’t got a sedan front seat frame

Man, that is definitely a nice way to do the floor. I know it isn’t cheap, but sure saves tons of labor and time.

$700, had free shipping. Sherman I believe, the rocker kit was almost that much, it came from golden star. The floor braces came from golden star also. I need the rear floor, but I'm thinking flat 16 or 18 gauge from metal depot. I don't need a spare tire well.

May have seen the link here, or thumbing through YouTube, but a guy used a ball peen hammer and laid the sheet metal on a grooved piece of would.
    Came out nicely nice.
    Assuming you don’t have a bead roller (I don’t).

Where were you when I did my 56 with the floor from a donor car? Oh, I know, you was that person that called the police on me because of all the noise I was making in the apartments with an air chisel circa late 80’s.

Lmao! My air chisel bit the dust last night... I've had that thing for 35 years. I had to finish cleaning up the floor supports the old fashioned way.

I don't like them . I've used them though. This wagon is being wet blasted. Waiting on the mobile sandblasting company to come do it.

  16. Lloyd, is the '55 a wagon or a sedan delivery? HRP

  28. Hey, that's what I have in my Henry J with a full spool and fat sticky tires, it's very street friendly especially in tight parking lots LOL

Mine is a 2 door handyman. But the windows have been removed and filled, same way my 57 was. It has the clam shell tailgate setup. 20210724_192514.jpg 20210603_134631.jpg
