If it's zero deck height. And this is just an estimate Screenshot_20240814-214146_Samsung Internet.jpg

  2. You could always run it on Propane!!

It's all a guessing game without actually knowing what piston is in it + deck height and actual head cc. Like I said .... Drive it and see.

    A .100 dome on those pistons can't be more than 6 cc's. I have .163 domes and they're supposedly 6.3 cc's. ;)

You need to put a . in front of your dome number in that calculator.

FWIW I’ve seen the number for the .100 dome @ 7cc’s and the valve trough as 5cc’s so the net volume of the dome is 2cc. If those numbers are correct then the compression would be as follows.

Also gotta put - so it subtracts from the combustion chamber size

I bet you won't run that motor on 87 octane, or if you do after awhile it will be lower compression because you will have beat the domes off the pistons. But then it will be slinging the belt off from being so far out of balance LOL. As suggested earlier set it up to run on E85.

You ain't kidding!!! I have 20 of a 27 year system in. If you have 20 years and you're 55 years old you can retire early. Every year I work now just increases my benefit by about 4.5%. I'm still good to go, but I'm just a little bit slower these days lmao!

  25. Ive been semi-retired for close to 15 years. :)

Congratulations on reaching retirement eligibility age. The problem with retiring early is what to do with yourself afterwards. I retired with my military retirement at 53. Dinked around for 3 years going to school and working on projects, but eventually you want something more. You have other outlets to keep you busy, but can you do them full time and still have enough funds to enjoy the things you want to do yourself. I think you have a good deal going right now. You clearly have a job you love, friends that care about you and appreciate what you do, and you get to play with some very nice toys. When the time is right to retire, you'll know it. And if it turns out you were mistaken, you can always go back to work. In the mean time, can't wait to see the work you are doing on this project.
