    Hi,

Brian McCool here from Kalamazoo MI. Have been so busy building my new '36 "Fordillac" roadster, I haven't had time to do much 'net surfing. The weather is still ****py here, and I'm waiting for it to warm up so I can start body work and paint, so, no more excuses.

The car is based on some Thom Taylor art in "Rod & Custom" from a couple of years ago. It's a much cut down '36 Tudor, shortened, sectioned, *******, channeled, and has a thumper 472 Cad. It's .060 over, big cam, heads ported, 10:1 compression, beefed up Turbo 400 and 3.23 Posi. The ch***is is homebuilt, with a '35 Plymouth front axle and paralell leaves. It'll have a folding top, I used '02 Sebring bows, cut down, and MGB windshield posts and frame. Curved gl***. Cool.

It's all apart waiting for some warmer weather so I can paint and ***emble. In the meantime, I'm finishing up a 1946 Spartan Manor travel trailer to replace the '48 we just sold. We pull that with our '48 Pontiac convert with an LT1, or our '51 Pontiac Tin Woody wagon with an LS1.

We have a '54 Chris Craft 17' Sportsman woody with a 350 Chev, and a '61 Panhead "Bagger" when we get tired of cars. So many choices, so little time!

    Brian

  3. Brian, saw your letter in R&C, and thought I'd sign in and see if you had any construction shots. I have several projects, but still keep thinking of doing something similar with A body, have deuce rails and a bunch of ch***is stuff already. Great idea and great looking too.
