Big Kahuna gets an altitude adjustment

    Been making progress on the Big Kahuna.. Been installing a Fatman MII front end in the woodie. got it back on its own weight today.. the new height had me nervous for about 10 sec..(when the jack would not come out from under the cross member).. but thats the price you pay to look good

    Looking good! I know what you mean about the jack. I've been working the suspension of my car and I was very glad to have TWO floor jacks handy. It's quite the tango since I don't have air lines hooked up yet...

    section it... its already chopped.... at least proportionally compared to the body.

    Dave, its getting a BB, but a chevy not a mopar

    its nice to be able to see into it and touch the roof. when I pushed it into the garage it barely cleared the top of the garage door, I had nose bleeds for the first month everytime I looked at it.. when the back gets down, the roof should be about the same height at my wifes compact suv.. (about 9" lower then stock)

    I LOVE IT Your woody gives me a woody.. I want one soooo bad. they are the token COOL car in my eyes stance is great man get that**** oughta the air before someone knocks her up though, haha

    I might be getting a '49, keeping my fingers crossed that my uncle wants to sell it, I think it's the same model as yours, I'll keep you posted.
     
  11. Boones that is awesome...get the big block in her, strap the longboard to the roof and hit the beach...can't wait to see if all finished...err refinished?
