He looks absolutely stunning Denise - quite a change from the yellow raincoat/roadtrip photos. Congratulations!!

I can't even imagine ever having a car that shinny. Earl Sheib, (and everyone else who contributed) you done one helluva job!

  3. Denise, after seeing that Cad cap held up there, it'd be hard for me to run anything else.

Big Olds looks great!!!! But when you consider how many great and talented folks were involved, I knew he would look awesome.

    You all rock. Congratulations.

  4. Coming from you, that's a helluva compliment :) Thanks, cleatus.

HRLC is givin' me WAY too much credit. I was only a part of the equation.
It was cool when she got here Thursday night and saw it for the first time.....it's one of the few(maybe only) times I ever made a woman cry with GOOD end result :p

I remember how the body gaps were, you did an outstanding job on the fit and finish Mike.

I can see the future post now "Custom Car builder Spotlight: VOLUNTEER AUTO BODY"

(Seeing Big Olds without the grille, he's like Grandpa Olds without his dentures  )

  6. I like it better that my red version! When my dad finaly gets tired of his 60 Imperial, I'm driving it to TN, and it'll be painted the same color.

pic found on web of another 60Imp, with chrome wheels and HRLC Lavender mist grape...purple....

    Denise --

Looks DAMN fine for a big ugly tank!

You and the crew done good -- can't wait to see the Olds in person this summer.

Make sure Earl has plenty of touch-up paint. As much as you drive the thing you'll need it, and that beats hell out of it being a garage queen!

    Cheers,

    Steve.

  10. Congratulations! Another HAMB classic. Gorgeous.

Most people don't realize all the hours of hard work that goes into a transformation like that. You girl have some very special friends there.
The car looks beautiful, can't wait to see the top....
What color is it going to be?
I vote for the Caddy caps too. Great work everyone! PJ

I actually have a set of those in the rafters too, but I know two of them are way to beatup for Big Olds’s new image. I'll get them out to see if you'll like them on the car.
