Denise, There is no way I can add to what has already been said. I'm thinking what has happened here is the best example of what the HAMB is REALLY all about. Your car looks fantastic and so does the smile on your face. I'm sure you know by now that there is a lot of love for you on this board and I only want to tell you that it is well deserved. You are one of if not the first to step forward when anyone you know is in need. Your generosity has no bounds and most everyone who knows you has been the reciepient of that generosity.
What I'm saying is, enjoy your moment in the spotlight along with those who have made this accomplishment become a reality. BTW, your not the only one who looks good. Big Olds is looking mighty fine these days as well and I hope his march to completion keeps on track.

Wow!! Beautiful! Guess we won't be seeing Big Olds with rusty HAMB relay parts sticking up out of the back seat anymore?
    Congratulations!!

You guys have to see Big Olds in PERSON to really dig on that paint color...it looks too grey on most computer monitors...but it's really a wicked light purple...totally ROCKS!

The hubcaps are right on the money, too...good on ya, Gus!

Denise gave us a full tour of all the subtle but slick body mods done to Big Olds and to say the car is impressive would be an understatement!

(Of course, Denise is a wonderful person...fully deserving of her newly refurbished ride!)

Glad we got to be the first GMBs to see Big Olds in PERSON!!!!

(Na na Na na naaa na!:p :D )

Is the set of hubcaps Gus had acceptable, or do I still need to find the set that I have?

Oh, by the way, I prefer beer over cookies.......but, of course, you knew that already.;)

You guys are all making me blush, thanks for all the very nice kudos. Your all very sweet.

Plowboy, the ones Gus brought over are very acceptable. A few scratches, a small ding or two, some of the paint on the rings need to be freshened up but all in all I'm thrilled. They are exactly what Big Olds needed to set off the wheels and tires. Thank you for your generous offer though, very much appreciated.

Since today is the first sunny day since I've had him home, I went home on my lunch, wiped off the road grime from the trip home, and drove him back to work! What a great feeling. Straight from work I'm heading to the local cruz nite where a number of my buds are waiting to see the new Big Olds. Life is good!!

Sorry to side track..but is anyone doing anything with those caps? I've got a 53 caddy those would look pretty hot on. I'm looking for some caps.

Great color choice. Great body mods. Great car.

New-5 Auto Parts Store on the northwest corner of Newburgh and 5 Mile, behind the gas station. A group of folks hang out there year round witht he crown swelling during the cruzn season. They have a grill in the parking lot and usually do up dogs, brats and burgers. I'll be there at 5:36:D

and as far as sounding homo***ual, your a GMB so it's expected.:p
