Don't worry, Pete and I brought our bikes up there for the grand opening, too bad there will be cars in there, or we would have the first annual HAMB bicycle races. [IMG]

I am the official poster for Pete, since he is busy. I know they plan to have cars set in the showroom area tonight, and some out back possibly. If you want your rides to get inside the shop area ( no dailys ) I would suggest that you bring them either tonight, or really early tomorrow. By the way Steve, I am a biker, ya got a problem with that? [IMG] [IMG]

I just got home from there, a few of the cars that were supposed to be there, backed out due to the weather. There will be a live band, couldn't tell ya there name, all I know is that they are LOUD!. Its pretty bad that I go work an 8 hr. day at my regular job, and then go up there and bust my ass more than I did at work today. [IMG]

Although some of the cars have cancelled, it should still be a good time. See ya'll tomorrow -Joe

just got the new gasoline receptacle put in the shoebox and fired her up. although she's wearing a little bondo, missing bumpers, and dusty as hell we'll be there barring a snowstorm or other equally bad michigan weather. i'm shooting for about 10 and i'm planning on bringing my striping stuff...

I am not ornamentation!! Thanks to all that came. It was great to meet Big Cheese and Old Tin. Put in alot of hours this week. Jdub is being paid with a much needed Tri-Power intake and others with other cool stuff. We had over 500 people come through the shop today.

Pete, It was good to meet you, J.Dub, Kritz, and Bigcheese.
It was cool to see Donzie, Fab32, and Fuel Pump again.

I really like J.Dubs tudor, maybe he'd take a half dozen or so of my projects in trade!

That is one hell of a shop, and I think you'll get used to rolling in that hauler, that thing is finer than any hotel I've been in.
Wish I could have hung out longer than I did! Oh well, I got to spend the rest of the day working in my cold ass garage.
What time did you guys knock off?

It was nice to meet some new HAMBsters and renew acquaintance with some old ones. I have to apologize if I didn't give everyone an equal share of my time. I talked FAB32's ear off but boy did I enjoy it! Thanks a lot guys, I wish you much success. Best weekend I've had in a while.

Definately a cool place, and a good time. I apologize for not being that talkative with some of you, I was a little busy. Thanks for the compliments on my car, I will really see how well I like it today when I drive it home in the cold.
The intake for work deal is really cool! Free intake, $30.00 set of rochesters, $150.00 for the rebuilds, linkage yet to be determined... looks to me that the sedan will have a completely fresh tri-power set up for under $250.00. [IMG] [IMG]

    Hey guys,
It was nice seeing everbody down in Flint yesterday. Great new race shop for the area. Thanks to the HAMB flintstones for their hospitality. Kritz and JW get the hardcore award for having their rides there. It was a lot of fun.

I just got-t-t-t h-h-home w-w-with the m-m-m-odel a. Damn it is cold out, and Michigan roads SUCK in the winter, even if there is no snow on them, it is as if the potholes breed in cold weather!

I-475 south bound, heading for home.

I always just figured it was because all the suspension lube was stiffer in the cold weather.

On second thought, maybe it's because I have to drive slower in the summer because of all the out-of-towners clogging the roads.

i'm glad that so many hambers showed up yesterday. it was nice to meet those who i haven't met before..oldtin and bigcheese. and it's always nice to see the "up north" guys too donzie, rich, and frank. i had a fun time and it was nice to be able to get the ford out of the garage and on the road for a change.
i missed the boat though...i should have had the hooters girls pose with the shoebox...it would have been funny to see them walking around with bondo dust all over them!!!

Yep. It was a great time, but I really wish my pit crew could've got my car done by then! (although it probably wouldn't have made it into the parking lot!)
