...but see, this is what I'm talking about, I now have 3 different measurements for '30-'31 p/u, coupe, and 2-dr. sedan doors: 29 3/8"--27 3/4"--29 1/8" ...if these are all accurate, then the doors DO NOT interchange within body styles. Now you really got me intrigued. Wonder if the 30-31 2dr sedan doors will fit a 26-7 T coupe under certain conditions; such as slightly chopped or even from the bottom of the window down? Im thinking that some combinations and "creativity" might work wonders here; wish I had them all lined up to take measurements and photos. One idea would be turning a coupe into a faux roadster.
Cool, Let me know if you find any 28 model A roadster doors. I bought a body minus the doors so I can't measure them for you.
Hey dana 44, why don`t you try reading all the posts before you start typin`. If youdid you would see I already gave specs for `28-`29 roadster doors, and put in a request for some. Go post an intro before you start blabin`
I measured my 31 coupe door and my 31 pu doors the other day for the hell of it and the pu door was a 1"1/4" longer at the belt line. I will get exact measurements (if it will stop raining) and post them on here. I can use a r/h coupe door.
measured just over door handel. coupe 27 3/4. pu 29 3/16.I think coupe & 4 door are same and pu & 2 door sd are same. some of the parts I ordered for my pu in the past were listed as pu & 2 door sd. hope this helps.
Mr G***er, any chance you will have ID and availability by next weekend? I'm going to be out at the Detroit swap.
Not yet...the holiday runaround, plus, trying to score as much stuff as I can from Hog Heaven before it's all gone, has kept me busy, but, the doors aren't going anywhere, and I plan on getting over there this coming week to do an inventory and figuring out what else he has. I'll update this post as soon as I have some solid info...
