I just want to thank Modernbeat for his help with the engine. Heck he even delivered it to my front door, wow!! I was in a bit of a rut and he came through BIG TIME...a COMPLETE engine ready to run. The effie won't see any down time. Thanks man!

    I love this place.

Jason is one heck of a stand up guy, always helping out his fellow rodders in need.

    Ditto on the Modernbeat kudos.

I don't think he has seen a Day of the Drags yet. Keeps making trips to Uhaul to pull somebody home with his truck. All around good guy.

Rey, I'm glad you got the hookup on the engine. Seemed like a smokin' good deal, and I don't even have anything to put it in!

With driving old cars, having an "emergency engine" is something everyone should consider, even if you don't have anything to put it in, something always seems to come up.. [IMG]

Ditto, kudos, prince among men, etc. etc. yada yada. Now if he could just get some work done on that modified of his then the approbation could continue without surcease.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but there's a good pic from Bonneville with Mr. McDaniel's mug along with several other Texas types on the latest Hop Up Magazine web issue.

Geeez guys. I just try to help when I can. I figure if it's easy for me, and helps someone else, then I should do it.

    And you should too.

Rey, did you get that engine in the truck yet?

Darwin, I know, I know...but the new job keeps me away from home even MORE than before. I'll be doing more work on the frame this Sunday. I saw that photo too. Thanks again for the party Mort!
