WOW....Awesome, sink her to the head.... Tons of drama already, but I had a weekend of fun. Planning started in late dec/early Jan. Gotta thank Tudor big time for drinking beers over the phone with me and talking me into it getting a plane ticket and fly in. He'd pick me up in the '46 from the airport and start the weekend right in a hot rod. None of the SFCC'ers knew i was coming. Few beers Thur night in Josh's garage, perfect for a morning headache on the 450 mile trip for Atlanta to the show. We met up Friday morning at Summit around 8ish to surprise everyone that i was in town. Spent the next 8ish hours in the blown 32....what a blast! The caravan down there was almost as fun as the show. Dave made his first good run on his bike, I'm so proud of my circus bear...i'll hug ya in June! Spend a 'few' hours in the parking lot friday night, think i hit the bed at 4:45.......am..... Think i left a beer or two on someone's trailer...sorry.. Sat morning came early, meet up with the gang and toured the cars....there were some REALLY quality cars, and a few abortions, but the quality of the good one's over came the abortions. Hit the mesuem.......WOW...that's all i can say, it was unreal! Hugh thank you to everyone involved in putting the show on, it was great, excellent, perfect, couldn't ask for more..... Guess it's time to look into Detroit's show....Fingers crossed next year i'll be back driving down there.....900 to Atlanta, 450 to the show...1350 x2 = 2700 round trip...but it will be worth it! Also hugh thanks to the SFCC...Josh, Dave, Brett, Tony, Keith, Ed, Amber, Russ, Kevin, Brad, Andrew(boy wonder), and Billy. Russ next time you see Kevin....tell him i said 'git on it, dag gone it'
Seeing you in Josh's coupe was the only cool part about getting to Summit so f'n early! Great to see ya again bro.
I thought it was "sink it to the hubs" ? You rock bro man! I saw Josh rolling in with someone in the passenger seat flipping the bird. "Holy cow - Brads 13 year old kid is flipping us off! I like it." Then I saw your scraggly mug and my brain shuddered - I mean studdered. Good times! Glad you came. Drag the Canadian next time.
It was great seeing you mang! I'll keep the PBR stocked the next time you're in town again. It was quite a shock and a good one at that. Don't forget: "RAT ROD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
