I think this is going to be a BIG one. I have taked to sooo many people already that didn't go this year that aren't going to miss it next year. It was really funny yesterday. I met up with a guy from south Florida to get a tranny core and he was a swap meet vendor at the 08 show. He told me he wouldn't miss it, and he was getting a bunch of cars from down south to come too. I sure hope we don't run out of room...
Atlanta traffic is really a pain especially if you are driving an old car, in our case a '57 Caddy. We have found that if we need to get through/around Atlanta during the week the best times are between 10 AM - 2PM or after 7 PM or Sunday mornings prior to 10-10:30. Probably early Saturday mornings would work as well and later in the evenings over the weekend.
limit in 2009 will be 600-650. Will have to do a lay out of the grounds to see how many will actually fit. Last year was over 500. I had 500 window cards and those all went out. The key to this one is going to be to pre-register. Thats going to be the only way to guarantee a spot in the show.
503 car rolled threw the gate for the 1 annual - register early for 09 - I spoke with Alan and they are moving some things around to make room for more in 09.
