Melissa and I just looked at these pics and had a BIG flashback to the ride from the hotel to No Where...

there were few cars in the hotel parking lot, we didnt see a single hot rod on the ride there... we started to worry that no one would show up at No Where.

As we crested the last rise before the bar and saw all the cars spilling over the parking lot, the quality of the cars there all the people having a great time our only thought was...

    HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIITTTT !!!! COOOOL !!!!!

Looking forward to an even better 2009 show and pre-party.

Registrations are still pouring in at a record rate. Sign up now if you want to reserve your spot in the show. I'll shut registration down once we hit our limit, after that you can come in as a spectator... but your car cant.

Big Daddy is stoked for the show and has a few cool things planned.

    I cant wait. :D

Alan I assume if I register a car, (our GTO), which we want to change out the rear,
if by chance it is not done by the show, we can come thru the gate with another, Right ?

I'm sure Alan will be sure you are in there.

Great coverage of last years show, it should be another big one again.

That's the plan! It will most likely still be in primer, but mechanically it's pretty much ready.

Right now I'm just waiting on Summit to ship my wheels (backordered?) so I can start shaking it down. I'd like to put at least a few miles on it before we head 750 miles South in March. :D

Really looking forward to it, and registered for BP in Detroit last week too.

Just sent off the latest round of registration confirmations.... and I cant stress this enough, if you want to get your car in the show you HAVE to pre-register. This is not just hype, we are running over double the number of registrations already this year and there is limited space in Big Daddy's backyard for hot rods. Sign up now if you want to get in the show, otherwise you will be parking down the street.

Registration also includes one pass into Big Daddy's Museums, that alone is worth the price of admission. If you havent been to the Museums... you could spend all day in either one and not get bored. The Engine Room alone has priceless old school speed parts and engines in it. Stuff you will see nowhere else.

The Pre-party is set for the No Where Bar again. This time with more and better BBQ.

    its going to be fun.

Yeah, it sold out within just a few days of Billetproof show regisatration opening up. I also registered right away but by the time I called for a room a couple days later they were already full.

So, I'm at the Microtel too. I'm sure it's fine but I'm still disappointed I didn't get a room at the Sleep Inn. The party in the parking lot at the Sleep Inn after the pre-party at No-Where was a blast too.

short of a digital dash or flame cut billet steering wheel your car is fine. See you at the show!!

  23. Is there going to be a 4x4 truck tug of war again at the nowhere bar this year???????
we have video - it was awesome until that guys rear end broke. No wait that the best part. Or was the best part the near rumble that almost occured because the guy with the broken truck felt he had been unfairly treated when the other participant backed up then jerked the slack out effectilvey yanking his truck out of the parking lot into the road. Best free entertainment I have seen.

    was that event sponsored?

no.. the truck pull was pure red-neck derived spontaneity. Something tells me that its not the first time such an even happened at the No Where Bar :D

Side note: the real estate office across the street was kinda upset at the No Where the next day because the trucks had spewed mud all over their building :D
