My valve covers are a little too new, but they fit the vibe, now I gotta build a car around them in 82 days.

We have heard from several that are slaving away to get cars running and driving to make the BIG day. Keep at it folks !

 

Glenn, every time you remind us how many days are left I start having trouble breathing!

I've got a LOT of hard work ahead of me to get the Caddy 'finished' - there's still a gaping hole where the back window should be - but we'll be there, shiny or not!

I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.

 

Looks like Dad and I will make it, but only in his '47...Got tired of fighting someone elses mess to get a smokey I-6 barely driveable...have committed to clippin' my Coupe so it won't make it by March. The good news, I can drink more

 

Damn, what is this place? Oh yeah, this is the HAMB. It's been so long since I've had time to get on here I forgot. Been thrashing on my truck to get to this show... I hope I make it.

Mike, what about a couple of memorial awards in memory of Glenn's son Cody and PoorBoy Myron given at Billetproof? Perhaps you guys have already discussed it, if not, maybe you can bring it up the next time the PB guys meet. It'd be a way to honor both guys.

 

We are going to have a memorial award for Myron Jr. to be presented by his dad, Myron Sr. We haven't really had a chance to discuss anything for Cody yet. We'll try to meet tomorrow or Saturday and bring that up. I'll let you know. Thanks, Mike

Just got a call from a group of Florida model car clubs... there will be over 200 model cars at the contest !!! WAY COOL.

The show is shaping up VERY nicely.

 

I'll bet that there will be a whole lot of seniors there, but most will be payin' for their own trip

 

Been working my ARSE off on the Caddy, right on schedule for the show.

I should be able to finish painting it, cut the windshield, install all the other glass, interior, wheels, tires, stereo, etc. in six weeks, right??

 

Keep at it gator, you will make it. I finally remember ed to register. Looking forward to it.

 

Several of us from SC will make the trip. Only a hand full with have our cars ready but we are coming anyways. I can park the Tahoe across the street. haha

 

I'm thinking of getting a couple of those magnetic signs, with the Poor Boys logo on them, for the sides of my rental car. Will that get me into the show? LoL

 

well, my bud sent out 5 of our preregistrations for us down here in Miami, FL. should we be expecting some sort of entry pass thing?

i plan to do some minor things to the Buick before then, just to spruce it up a bit.

one month before the show I'll be sending out your registration card. Show this card at the gate and yer in.

the packet will have a map, schedule and info about the pre-party.

 

Choptop, I registered 2 cars and only 1 will be able to make it...I am not worried about the cash, but would like someone else to be able to have the spot...let me know what I need to do...
