I'm sure Big will be there. He loves these cars and was very happy with the show last year.

We still have to finish wiring the dash and lights, get the motor running, put the front end tin on, bleed brakes and a few other loose ends. We made a huge dent in it this weekend and I think he's going to make it. I did this same thing last year for Glenn's sedan, it's a real challenge...

I'll be leavin' early early Friday morning for B-proof and the shindig at the No Where - been looking forward to it since I registered!

 

My son was heading up to Ocala from Daytona this past weekend, and a forest fire on 40 turned them all the way to Gainesville and then backtracked there! I hope the hell that doesn't happen this weekend because at 6 mpg I won't get too far!!!

New 4-bar bushings and new front brake calipers last week, so hopefully nothing will fly off my coupe on the way up and it will be a nice ride! (What the hell, I have AAA anyways.....)

I finished another 20 custom shift knobs this weekend, still burning the midnight oil on about 15 more. Hope to get them done and be hangin' with Sonny peddlin' my shit for the day! See you there!

I stopped in at Big Daddy's today... he's really looking forward to the show.

he's got a couple of cool surprises for the crowd.

here is a hint, there are both Hemi powered and one is A LOT louder than the other and one is A LOT faster than the other.

We thrashed again tonight and got the wiring finished inside and got the engine fired. That's the sweetest part of doing almost any car, except the first cruise. We still have a lot of things to finish, but I really think it will be on the road Wednesday to get exhaust put on.

We are making it happen... I hope! Finally painted the car last night. We will finish the body tonight, and if all goes well, will have the motor in tomorrow night. This is our second Florida Billetproof, and this is my second last minute thrash. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson last year!

 

I'll be there - without my hot rod, but attending in my buddy's awesome '31 Model A that we just sold to a germany Rumbler's member! That is, if they have room to squeeze us in without a pre-reg! We're crossin' our fingers!

Just mounted some new shoes on the 40 last night.

The old rear tires had great tread but had sat for a long time, and I had a vibration that was getting worse. We went to rebalance them at a friends' shop and one of the rears was gonna need over 6 ounces of lead to balance it!

Rather than take any chances I dropped a couple hundred bucks and mounted up 2 new skins on the back. There goes my spending money. Haha.
