"Billetproof"??? Ocala, Fl.

I sure hope that was not a slam, dis whatnot at KIRK, I dont think you know who he is when it comes to BILLETPROOF!

 

It has nothing to do with if I was there or not. His approach to gathering information is flawed. There have been cars with billet on them at Billetproof since the FIRST SHOW. Do we turn people away when we catch the fact that they have billet stuff on their cars? Yes. Do we catch everyone? No.

When 20-30 cars out of a thousand are the "wrong" cars, that's a pretty amazing percentage of killer versus not-so-killer.

This has been covered a thousand times on here.

DON ROGERSApologies to all whom I may offended. I did however hear many complaints from the guys participating about the Street rod presence at a Billetfree show. Yes, I did cover that event for Rebel Rodz and as such , I want to do proper justice to all. The promoters as well as the participants. Alan and The Poorboys did a bang up job on the show and I have no intentions to bash the show. But, if guys did get turned away, don't you think it's fair to them to at least mention it? I thought this forum would be the perfect place to get to the bottom of the rumors and get the straight story. Was I wrong? If so, my apologies again. I've also placed a call to Alan's voice mail but have yet to hear back

My Question would be ,if you heard it at the show ,why didn't you ask the people at the time they were saying it ?

And get the names of those folks and maybe some photos of the billet rides for your Mag !
