Is there any paperwork that is to be mailed out prior to the show for us to get in if we pre registered, or just tell them at the gate that we pre registered?
Looks like preregistration is closed if you haven't already done it. I'll be the spectator taking lots of photos again.
if you registered online or provided an email with yer vintage style snail mail registration a confirmation slip, map and schedule was emailed back to that email address. if you are still lighting your sod hut with whale oil the Pony Express will bring your registration slip, map and schedule by Tuesday or so god willin and if the creek dont raise.
shoot! I made plans to move the Stude to its new location that day! Otherwise I would definitely make the drive down
I either pm'd or emailed you that my address and email tied to my paypal account is not current, I haven't heard from you though, Is that a problem, what do I need to do.
Can it be re emailed, or even faxed? When you opt for paypal it just grouped my old info to the form. Joe and Christina Bruns, current email joestntsupply@riousa.com Or better yet faxed 541-746-0768 Phone is 541-746-0646, day work number
Dumb question- Does the fairgrounds ( or this show specifically) allow dogs? If I can get my broken *** there, I'd like to bring my 9 lb. co-pilot. I looked at the fairgrounds website, but couldn't find any rules. I don't want to get there and be told he can't come in. Besides, who could say "no" to this face?
no worries, bring mans bast friend, just be sure that Melissa at the Billetproof booth gets some pets, she loves dogs.
I WAS going to be there...with the T this year, but sadly she won't make it.. I have been working to service the T and get it ready for the big trip for the last 2 weeks, and took it out for a test run last night and found that the 2 lower bolts that hold the Aux. O.D. to the Model T transmission had stripped and worked themselves out (due to the poor road conditions in the Portland metro area) resulting in a m***ive oil leak..... Sadly these lower bolts are threaded into the oil pan (while the uppers are simply bolt with nuts and lock washers). To correct the problem, the rear axle/ drive line AND overdrive must be removed in order to drill and tap or Heli-coil the wounded threads...A task that I will not be able to complete before tomorrow. So I will unfortunately be forced to sit this one out... Next year for sure...with the new engine!
I know...it totally blows. The oil is just pouring out once it get's warm...I'm afraid of damaging it on the 85 mile trip... I know, I know...shame on me! I will certainly have it on hand next year before my big Bonneville run in 2012. You are always welcome to pay a visit down my way as well.....I'd be happy to give ya a ride if you like!
Headed up now. If your ride doesn't make it, still come out in your daily. Gotta support the show or there won't be a next year. See ya there!
Sorry you couldnt make it Mr. Model T. Bummer about your OD. Better that you fix it than risk further damage. The trip up to Billetproof next year will be a good mini test run for your journie to Utah. The show was great. I had a good time, chatted with many folks, saw lots of HAMB alliance plaques, and spotted several cars I wish I could have driven home!! It was a great turn out and quite a blast to be at my favorite show of the year. I managed to get a Godzilla sized sun burn, the weather was sort of sneaky this year. Although there was a nice cool breaze and semi overcast skys my fair skin managed to **** up enough UV's to toast bread. Still had fun though.
