So where does everyone hang out on Friday afternoon/evening? Cruising? Where?

unfortunately we cant close (only allow certain cars) on the main street for the cruise. Its a state hwy, so to shut if down would take years and cost thousands of lives. As for guys that are in the cruise and will cause trouble, I'm in cahoots with the police dept. They are going to be enforcing all the traffic laws very stringently. Granted if they encounter toooo many trouble makers eventually it will ruin the event, but for right now they are hip to it and the Police Chief and I talk about who got cited for what when its all over and its known if its Billetproof'ers or not that are causing trouble.

It's up to all of us that go to this great event to keep things inline. Let the few that get out of line know you don't care for them screwing around. They will get the picture! KEEP IT COOL:cool: UGOTPK

Last year as we were leaving and headed north to Roy to visit family after the show we saw groups of muscle cars headed south for the cruise. We p***ed a number of OT cruisers with families too as the cruise night seems to have become a lot bigger than than Billetproof it's self in some respects.

There always seems to be a problem with the usually (not in the show) hot street cars showing up at things like this with the owners bent on making ***es of themselves to show those guys with the old cars what a real hot car does. It doesn't just happen in Centrailia/Chehalis it happens in Yakima, Brownwood ,Texas and every place else I have been to a rod trot or car show.

For some unknown reason the off topic cars are attracted to any event that is NOT for them. It's like vultures circling road kill. They wait for things to get going and then join in and make sure they do something to get everyone's attention.
I've seen this happen at numerous events. They just can't seem to find a place that's open to their vehicles, even when there are numerous other open shows the same day.
I sure hope the weather people are wrong with their forecast!

Wipers? Yeah, the '35 has a (as in singular) wiper. It doesn't really remove the rain from the windshield, as much as arrange the raindrops into a more convenient semi-circular arrangement. I'm still going to be there. Are people still meeting at the Gee Creek rest area at 7?

Just put a fresh coat of rain x on the gl*** and put the wifes umbrella in the car. Ready to go. I havn't drove the car a lot in rain do to water leaks. I went through it this winter finding the leaks and fixing them. I think I got them so tomorrow will be the test.

  18. Rob, found a small item from Puyallup Raceway that might add a nice touch to the dash or firewall of your '35.

Not making it after all. Heading to the doc in the morning and then Meeting with our real estate agent to finalize some paperwork on our new house. Its our first house. Can't meet until mid-morning... throws off the whole day. I look forward to all of your pictures. See you at Greenwood and Puyallup.

Not gonna make it either. No wipers is not a big deal, but rain pours in around my crank open windshield seal, so not fun driving with a lap full of rain! Have fun!
