  6. Cool! A friend of mine is doing the exact same thing. Seems like you're both chopping it about the same amount (and cutting in the same places). You can see some photos from his chop here.

well you would think that when you get to the other side it would go easier, but i struggled a little bit with this door top. probably getting tired so i decided to clean up and call it a night before i make a mistake

that is an awesome job you guys are doing there, alot of quality work. one question, what gauge sheet metal did you use for the rear outer quarter panels?

    looking good Billy.
We get most of the metal for free from my partner's work ( not stealing, dumpster diving ). we have used mostly 18 ga on the fenders and rear pan.

That window is a lot of fun. We cut out the corner, did the chop and then replaced the corner after some cuts on it. It left us with the stock look in the rear window area.

the right side window was easier and i did it a little different. made some quick links for the rearend and removed leaf springs to check wheel tubs.. they are gonna be fine. well kindergarten is over its time to tackle the back sheet metal. the light in my head has not turned on yet but it will i like a challenge more pics

that fender valley is ok on the first one...just wait to do the second and make it look like the first....tuff job. I like the fact that you are eliminating the stainless bump. We took ours out but did it a little different...still makes the car look much more smooth

well pretty productive day got the right side piece in, i think it is pretty close to the other side. had to cut out a small section , the intersection point was too steep and did not look right.
