I'm glad to see that Wolf's old merc is still exactly the same as it was when I knew him . I used to hangout with him when he was in the Lonley Kings back in the early 90's . That car is amazing and he never did cover up any of the welds . they were pretty clean to begin with , but they just had paint on them from what I remember . I also got a big kick out of how he cut " lucille " out on top of the " lincoln " script on that over rider . Pure genious . I have lots of pictures of that car somewhere . I will drag them out later .

5. The golden Olds fastback is the only one not built on the other side of the Atlantic. The original one was built by Robbie Martinez and featured in both Car Craft 1956 and Hot Rod 1956. I think the clone was owned (maybe built) by Richard Kenny for some time and Gary "Die-Hard" for some. I have not exact story of it, though its current owner did claim that it was the old custom, and not a clone. But as he did advertise for a sun visor for it (HELP!) I understands tah the knows nothing about customs...
(BTW nice too see all those custom photos, I´ve shot quite a few of them!)

6. That took a long time before somebody came around to the best kustom of them all from Sweden!!! And that is off cause just my humble opinion!! Allan Bergmann '51 Chevy will allways be the greatest. That man is a genius!
He will allways be my inspiration!

7. Great Kartsa. I can see how that will fit to the dash, Buick Titian red & gold. Stunning...
Is that interior a work of Lasse Vänttinen?

9. Yes Klaus, Allan rules! He is a real kustom artist.
The first time the photo of Allan´s 51 (built in the 80´s) was published was 15 years ago, on the cover of the very first issue of Lead News. Yes, already in 1990 we did smallsized custom magazine like in the early days...

A few more photo's.

A really nicely chopped 54 Chevy four door was seen at a Power meet in Vasteras in the late 80's. Wonder if it is still around today.

53-54 Chevy with nice chop. This is also a 4 door but I dont think its the same one as the pink one above. The top looks to be lower in the rear on the green one.

29. As a lot of customs have been built both in Sweden and Finland, very few kustoms have been built in Norway. This is the 49 Merc cvt that Levi Lundring built in the early 1980´s, it started out as 4-d and it was probably the first traditional custom built in Norway. Today Im looking at this photo with a stone in my heart. Levi, his wife and their three children are missing in Thailand.
