Yes, Helenius´ 57 is really cool. The owner from Western Finland has won several trophys with it. It has also been introduced in some magazines. And it has tuned 455 under the hood! And you would never believe, but that chopped Buick with rusty bumbers (shown previous page) has SBC with BLOWER! Also the top has been cutted of last spring.

It's great to see this thread is going on ! Thank you all for the great pics and the interesting comments ! [IMG]
Jake's '48 Chevy and Roger Lundens '51 are gorgeous Kustoms !
If I would build a car right now,it would be satin/suede.I really like shiney paint too,but the suede paintjobs have a very special look. Can't put it in words.Just take look at J.B.'s Merc.Tells it all...

Please take my apologies for including a pic of a Full Kustom '52 Chevy which is not from Scandinavia. This sled comes from Belgium and is a Scrapers ride.I absolutely love the shiney paint on this one. That's why I posted it.I saw it some years ago at the very first traditional Hot Rod and Kustom show in Bottrop,Germany.I was so blown away by the beauty of this car...
Builder and owner is a guy named Tristan. The other Scrapers rides are also very promising !!!

Back in the early 80s when the Fonz was just Joe, I think that alot of folks would be surprised to know that he tried his best in his backyard to build the best candy apple wine chopped Merc he possibly could. His first one was his best one. Then after he wrecked it, He started with all the Fonz shit with the unsanded plastic and shit hanging all over the place. Joe was my hero when I was 11 years old and take it from me he'd race any one any where, any time. The peice of shit shown here is one in a string of abortions that he built after he wrecked the real one. Was the real one rough/ Yeah, but he gave it everything he had in his yard. What is also not known is that Joe had an incredible eye for detail,Yeah thats right. He did the rough work on a few very hard core Jersey chopped Mercs. Hey speaking of Jersey cars that went over to Europe, What happened to Harry Schaeffers chopped turqoise 48 Olds fastback??????
