Thats pretty cool! It would look even cooler on the ground with someone in the drivers seat goin pedal to the metal down the road.

wow...I remember that green car from a recent issue of rod and custom. I remember him saying that the bumpers and wheels were shot with a chrome style coating/paint that was tinted. Looks like he did the same for that coupe's wheels. Lots of gold but I like it.

Bitchin' is right. I'm glad you brought up this coupe...I've seen it on here a couple of times, and it never fails to catch my eye. The gold paint is beautiful...but what I'm really interested in is the finish on the wheels. They look too reflective to be paint...they look plated to me...yet I can't imagine that they're gold-plated

Does anybody know what the finish is on the wheels?

Ricky..it's called Cosmichrome. It's a water basted electrocoating that's sprayed on which looks like a plated surface. It works on metal, plastic, wood, etc. Do an internet search and you'll have no trouble finding info. Looks neat

I'm sure he's running those push through caps and bullet lugs because taking a baby moon hubcap on and off would mess/chip the finish...elementary my dear watson...haha

What a cool setup. Not only would it be awesome to have one badass car but two would be killer!!! Way to go, nice to see something different.

  30. I saw both cars earlier this year at the Beatersville show in Louisville. They are way cool!
